Which vehicles are eligible for the Complimentary Home Charger and Standard Installation promotion?

  • As of 1/3/25, eligible vehicles include 2024 and 2025 model year F-150 Lightning, Mustang Mach-e or E-Transit Cargo Vans.

What is the process for a customer to receive their Complimentary Home Charger?

  • If a customer is purchasing or leasing an eligible electric vehicle from a Dealer during the promotion, they will receive their charger at point of sale from the Dealership (unless otherwise specified by the Dealership).
  • If the Dealership does not have any Complimentary Home Chargers in stock, the Dealer will facilitate the process to get the charger shipped to the customer.

Can a customer purchase another charger in addition to the complimentary one included in the Ford Power Promise promotion?

Will the customer be required to pay sales taxes on the Ford Charge Station Pro?

  • No. However, customers should consult with their tax professional as to any tax implications.

What is considered a Standard Installation?

Is there any scenario where a customer would have to pay out of pocket for their Complimentary Standard Installation?

  • Yes, customers will have to pay for any items that are not included in a Standard Installation.

Can customers choose their own installer?

  • The Complimentary Standard Installation offer is only covered for installations performed by licensed electricians identified by Qmerit Electrification LLC. If the customer prefers to identify their own installer, the cost of installation is not included.

Who can the customer reach out to for support on their Complimentary Standard Installation?

  • Contact Qmerit directly by phone: 949-504-9990 Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 8:00pm EST or by email: fordpowerpromise@qmerit.com.

Who can the customer reach out to for support on their Complimentary Standard Installation?

  • Contact Qmerit directly by phone: 949-504-9990 Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 8:00pm EST or by email: fordpowerpromise@qmerit.com.

Why is the Standard Installation only complimentary for up to 60amps since the Ford Charge Station Pro can be charged up to 80amps?

  • Generally, installing a 60-amp breaker is less likely to result in a main panel upgrade while still providing owners with home charging to meet their needs. In addition, some vehicles are not able to receive 80 amps, so Ford’s complimentary installation offer covers an amperage that works with our current Ford electric vehicles.
  • Note, vehicles eligible for the promotion starting on 1/3/25 can only accept a 60amp breaker/48amp of charge.

What is the Ford warranty on hybrid and electric vehicles?

  • Ford Motor Company offers warranty coverage for components unique to hybrid and electric vehicles, including the high voltage battery, found to be defective in factory-supplied materials or workmanship. This coverage lasts for 8 years or 100,000 miles from the Warranty Start Date, whichever occurs first.
